WHY USE FILLER MASTERBATCH AFTER VIRGIN RESIN?
In essence, virgin resin consists of polymer chains formed by connecting monomers through chemical reactions. To create plastic, natural materials like cellulose, rubber latex, or synthetic materials like ethylene and benzene are synthesized, with a crucial component being petroleum-derived feedstock. Using 100% virgin resin for plastic production has some inherent disadvantages:
First, virgin plastic is less environmentally friendly. Products made from virgin plastic are almost non-degradable under natural conditions.
Second, kerosene - the main raw material that creates virgin plastic - must be imported mainly from abroad. This makes the end product expensive and vulnerable to relatively unstable oil supplies.
Third, petroleum is a non-renewable resource. Therefore, relying on petroleum as an input material will make the product less stable and sustainable.
From these realities, filler masterbatch was born - fully meeting the requirements of finished plastic products and helping businesses save significant costs.
